WELCOME TO WEDDINGS AT NORTH SHIRE
We like to do things a little differently here. Our Enchanted Barn is so versatile that no one size fits all package would be enough.
Instead, we prefer to work with you to create the wedding you have envisioned – be that a traditional affair or a themed extravaganza. Our wonderful Events Manager Bex will help guide you through the process.
We start with a venue hire fee – which always includes exclusive use of the whole site for at least 24 hours – so that you can celebrate with just the people you choose to have around you. The rate is based on your chosen date and includes a nights stay for up to 28 guests in our four renowned themed accommodations; the Ground Keepers Cottage, the Shire House, the Dorm Room and Le Petit Chateau. You then have the choice to add our seven shepherd huts to your hire agreement or these can be held to be available for your guests to book directly from us.
We have had the pleasure of working with some wonderful local suppliers, which we would be delighted to introduce you to – or if you have a caterer or entertainment in mind, we are always happy to try something new.

The Shire can cater for up to 450 wedding guests, with enough room to fit up to 75 overnight guests in our fixed accommodations and shepherd’s huts but you are welcome to bring tents and tourers with you and we can also organise providing vintage caravans and large furnished Bell tents too.
We are a fully licensed venue therefore we can host everything from your ceremony to your first dance right here at our beautiful venue.
We also have a fully stocked, licensed bar in our Enchanted Barn and can help you organise anything from workshops and yoga classes to hot tubs and live music.
Our on site accommodations range from the larger Story Book Cottage Ground Keeper’s Cottage and our Shire House to Shepherds Huts all heated and cosy. There are onsite showers and toilets and your welcome to use the grounds as you wish and bring in your own marquees, tipis and gazebos if you wish.
